Frequently Asked Questions

  • I work with adults of all backgrounds, identities, and relationship structures. This includes individuals, couples, and those navigating ethical non-monogamy. I also provide affirming care for LGBTQ+ clients, and I welcome clients exploring spirituality, life transitions, trauma, and attachment.

  • All sessions are held via secure video using a HIPAA-compliant platform. You’ll receive a private link before each session, and you can join from a quiet, comfortable space of your choosing. Online therapy makes it possible to access support from anywhere in California while still building a meaningful therapeutic connection.

  • Standard sessions are 50 minutes long. In some cases, such as EMDR processing or relationship work, we may decide together to schedule a longer session if needed.

  • I’m a private-pay therapist, which means I don’t work directly with insurance. If you have out-of-network benefits, I can provide a superbill that you can submit to your insurance for possible reimbursement.

I encourage clients to check with their insurance provider to learn more about their out-of-network coverage.

  • Individual Therapy: $180per 50-minute session
Couples Therapy: $200 per 50-minute session
Extended sessions are available upon request.

I offer a limited number of sliding-scale spots based on financial need. If you’re interested, feel free to ask about current availability.

  • I believe in transparency and want you to feel comfortable and informed about the cost of your care. If you are not using insurance (or do not have insurance), you have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate of the expected charges for services.

What this means for you: You can ask for an estimate of costs before you schedule a session. You’ll receive a written Good Faith Estimate at least 1 business day before your appointment. If your bill is $400 or more above the estimate, you have the right to dispute it.

This is part of the No Surprises Act, which helps ensure you know what to expect financially, no hidden fees, no surprises.

For more information about your rights, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call 1‑800‑985‑3059.

  • EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a research-supported therapy that helps process unresolved distress, trauma, or limiting beliefs. I offer EMDR online using bilateral stimulation tools that are effective and adaptable for remote work, such as eye movements, tactile tapping, or audio tones. Before we begin, we’ll establish strong grounding and safety practices to ensure the process feels supportive.

  • I work with individuals, couples, and people in ethically non-monogamous relationships. This includes monogamous partnerships, polyamorous constellations, open relationships, solo poly folks, and anyone navigating relational complexity with curiosity and care. All gender identities, sexual orientations, and structures are welcome.

  • Most clients begin with weekly sessions, which allows us to build momentum and continuity. As therapy progresses, we may adjust the frequency depending on your needs, goals, and emotional pacing.

  • That’s completely okay. You don’t need to have a script or a perfect explanation of what’s going on. Therapy is a space to explore, and I’ll meet you with patience, curiosity, and care. We’ll move at a pace that feels safe and supportive for you.
