EMDR Therapy —

Therapy for gently reprocessing painful experiences and reconnecting with your inner resilience.

A body-based, evidence-backed approach for healing emotional wounds

What is EMDR?

EMDR Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing is a structured, research-supported therapy designed to help people process and release distress tied to trauma, painful memories, or limiting beliefs. Rather than retelling your story over and over, EMDR works by engaging the brain’s natural ability to reprocess stuck or unintegrated experiences using bilateral stimulation (such as eye movements, tapping, or sound) to support healing on a deeper level.

EMDR is commonly used for…

EMDR meets you right where YOU ARE

You don’t need a single defining trauma for EMDR to help. It’s also effective for the quieter, cumulative wounds that come from growing up in invalidating, chaotic, or unsafe environments. EMDR may be a good fit if you:

  • Feel like you’ve tried talking about something, but it hasn’t shifted

  •  Struggle with distressing memories that still feel “live”

  •  Notice strong emotional reactions that feel hard to explain

  • Want to move beyond insight and into more body-based, integrated healing

My Approach

My Approach

Holistic & Relational Psychotherapy

I integrate EMDR into my relational and attachment-based work with care and intentional pacing. We won’t jump into reprocessing before we’ve established safety, connection, and a clear understanding of your needs. Our work begins with grounding, resourcing, and helping your nervous system build trust in the process.

EMDR doesn’t erase the past, but it can help you feel less activated by it, less stuck in it, and more able to move forward with clarity and resilience.
